Lunga Shabala

Like all work of craft, this note is inspired by the ignorant personality of others and the insatiable lust over a certain Mzansi ‘itboy’. I’m a bit surprise that in the age of technology we live in there are people who quit don’t recall who Lunga Shabalala is. Let me school you, that Selimathunzi stud, the guy you’ve been seeing on print ads, billboards and round about Mzansi social scene. That is Lunga Shabalala.
The Pietermartzburg born model had his claim-to-fame after being chosen as the Calvin Klein Underwear X ambassador. More than just a pretty face, he too went to DUT to pursue town planning studies, if only I stayed there longer we might have met. Nonetheless, those who do know him know that they cannot get enough of the chiselled hunk.
At the risk of sounding biased let me just ad though that he proves that us Durbanites do rock. The almost-overnight sensation has graced TV inserts, others’ fantasies and many magazine covers after taking over Kaos Mncedisi Matu’s departure on Selimathunzi. Personally ever since he was announced winner in the controversial presenter search on March 4th, I’m much less moved by what he says but how he flexes that body. The guy is appealing, with a great smile for a man and though I haven’t met him personally, word is he isn’t that stuck up for a guy who walks in the same category as Mark Wahlberg and Djimon Honsou also representing the international Calvin Klein.
Now going back to those who did not know this rising star, he is the guy other guys hate coz he looks good and woos their girlfriends. He is the guy that gals and fags love to swoon over and as Mika Stefano said, ‘...lick his Duku-Duku’. This model-cum-presenter had his eye on the TV industry and through determination, conquered just that. Those lips, abs, smile and achievements are worth knowing in this industry.
